Nia grew up in Chicago and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian since she was a child. She is currently a relief veterinarian in the Atlanta area and has also found a new passion. Through her business, My Vetamorphosis, she provides coaching for veterinarians who are ready to make a career transition. Outside of work, you can find her spending time with her teenage son and family, baking all things sweet, loving on her doggy nephews, and traveling.

Dr. Nia graduated from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002, receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). ,

Experience

Nia's been a veterinarian for over 20 years and has practiced in various settings including private practice, emergency, shelter medicine, and telehealth. She also owned a mobile vet service and a small animal and exotics hospital in Alexandria Virginia.
