July 6, 2022 – Primal Pet Foods is voluntarily recalling a single lot (#W10068709) of Raw Frozen Primal Patties for Dogs Beef Formula (6-pound), with best by date of 05/22/23, due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
What You Need to Know About Listeria
Listeria rarely causes illness in dogs, but it is possible so it is best to take any and all precautions. Dogs can have mild symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting. It is important to know that even if your dog is not showing any symptoms, dogs can still carry the bacteria and spread it to humans.
If you have products matching the description and best-by date you should stop feeding it to your dogs and dispose of it immediately.
