Just because Nevada is a landlocked state doesn’t mean you can’t take your pup down to the beach! However, it does mean your options are a bit more limited.

Still, Lake Tahoe features tons of options for you to consider, and Walker Lake is another option you have. We’ve highlighted eight of the best options in the state for you here and what you can expect from each one before you go!

1. North Zephyr Cove Beach

In Summary

While you shouldn’t expect a ton of crashing waves from the ocean at any beach in Nevada, there’s no reason you can’t take your pup to a beach with crystal-clear water and outstanding views.

It might take a bit more of a hike and they’ll need to stay on a leash at most locations, but that doesn’t mean you and your dog can’t have a ton of fun together!
