- Directions – Â Test for colorfastness in a discreet area. If the color is altered after the product dries, discontinue use. Before using product on affected area, first use an absorbent towel to soak up and remove as much of the stain or liquid as possible.
- Surface stains – Apply an ample amount of Hepper Stain & Odor Eliminator, covering the affected area entirely. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes, then blot with a cloth and leave to air dry.Â
- Lasting odors – Apply a sufficient amount of product to thoroughly seep through both the carpet and any lower layers that may have been exposed to your pet’s bio-mess. It may be more useful to apply liquid directly instead of using the sprayer. Allow the product to sit for at least 60 minutes, several hours if possible. Place a towel over the area and place a heavy object on top to soak up the remaining liquid. After the area has dried, vacuum and check for final results. If the stain and/or odor are still present, repeat this process. Older or more stubborn stains and odors may require several treatments.
- Storage – Keep from exposure to hot or cold temperatures. Store product in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, children, food items, and drinking water. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Avoid exposure and contact with acids, alkalis, and strong oxidizing agents as they may react with product and inactivate bacterial cultures.
